WORD – Sending email

Morning.
When I create a Word document using WordArt, then send it: File>Send To>Mail Recipient, when it arrives at it’s destination it is completely blank, unless I send it to myself. On the other end, when it’s blank and the recipient Replies to me, the WordArt format is in place as it was intended.
Why isn’t it there on the recipient’s end?
