Word XP Embedded Font

Hey there.
I have a font that I am fond of using. Unfortunately, somehow in the midst of transfering files between computers I seem to have lost this font.
Now, I do have a Word document with this font embedded. And I did embed the full font.
I have searched high and low in my home, but I cannot find the CD which has this font, so I cannot simply reinstall it.
So the real question here is this: is there any way that I can extract that font from that document so I can use it elsewhere?
I don’t care how it’s done, I just would like some help in getting this font available for other Word Docs and othere programs.
Help is appreciated.
