Word XP – Word 97 converter

I have a user that has Word 97 and cannot open Word 2002 documents. Is there a converter that can be downloaded that will allow him to do it? I saw a converter that allows Word 6 to read Word 97 & Word 2000 files but it didn’t say anything about Word 2002 to Word 97.
