With globalization of the tech biz a fait accomplie, the level of customer/tech support has sunk (in my opinion)to a new low.
My experiences over the past couple of years are nothing less than horror stories of existentialist proportions.
My background is a 3rd level Sr level engineer and any time I gotta call tech support/customer service from any major company,it just makes me just cringe.
Yeah,I know some folks will say consumer goods gets you consumer customer service (offshore).
But when the only product available is the only one for the job, what can you do?
My vote for horrible includes:
HP,Sony,Tracfone,ATT/SBC,Symantec just to name a few of the worst of the worst.
How bout some stories if you got ’em?
