Writing to Floppy Causes NT 2 Reboot?

by robert.gulledge1 . Updated 24 years, 5 months ago

Some of my users have recently complained that when they attempt to write a file to a 3.5 floppy, their Windows2000 reboots. I have tried different diskettes, checked them for Read/Write, and for viruses. If I boot the desktop into Safe Mode, the user can write to a floppy with no problem.
My users have IBM NetVista Model 6279-BAH desktops running Windows2000 Professional with SP2. Has anyone else had this problem and were you able to fix it?
