WSUS – Windows Server 2016

Hi one and all, So after many weeks of trying to figure out this issue of why my Windows 10 Clients aren’t picking up the updates from my WSUS, I have had no further luck. I have created all the membership groups for my place of work, I can see the updates in the updates section of the WSUS console, I can approve them and I can see them being downloaded where it starts XXXX MB of XXXX MB downloaded, yet when I click on Check for updates on my Win10 Client machines, it says I’m up to date. I’m really struggling on this one so any help whatsoever would be fantastic. Regards

As I note the priors at http://www.google.com/search?q=wsus+server+2016+clients+not+downloading+updates the one thing that is clear is that it’s never one thing or the same thing every time.
If the IT lead can’t resolve we have them put in a ticket up at Microsoft.

Hi there,
Oh right, that makes sense.
Will the IT lead be able to have a look at this?

Proffitt seems to think that in your company your boss or one of your colleagues is the IT lead that is responsible for this and should contact Microsoft. And, of course, we don’t know if he is available and has time for this issue.
But maybe you are yourself.
