XL - Pg Setup for Multi Wkshts at Once

By groupjb ·
I have a number of multiple-worksheet files to print out, and I need to be able to select all the tabs and re-set the page setup parameters for all worksheets and once and then print out all worksheets/pages in one command. But even when I select all the tabs and re-set the page size and 'fit to' parameters, it only changes these parameters for one sheet, so I end up having to re-set the parameters and print out each worksheet individually, which takes a lot of time when dealing with 50 multiple worksheet files. HELP!

I'll try to answer this from beginning to end so I don't miss any steps.

First, on each tab (sheet) highlight the area to print and 'set print area' from the file menu.

After all the sheets' print areas have been defined, the adjust your page setup according to how you did in your description.

Then highlight all of the sheets (tab), by holding down the CTRL button and selecting each sheet you want to print.

Go to "File/Print" from the upper menu. Make sure the radio button is checked for "Print Range=All" and "Print What=Active Sheet(s)".

If this doesn't do it, I guess I misunderstood your question. Good luck.

Thanks, but that's what I've been doing. The problem is that once each worksheet is set to its own margins/headers/footers, etc., even if you select all of the worksheets at once and re-set the parameters, the changes only affect the CURRENT worksheet (whichever one is visible on screen).

There must be something wrong with this link -- I get a page on the Microsoft site that has this message "The Requested Web Page is Not Available"
