xp logon annoyance

I have windows xp pro and every time I leave my computer for 5 minutes it will go back to the logon screen so I need to put in my password. I dont want to do that every 5 minutes or beter yet I only want to logon once and let the screen saver kick in not the logon screen. How do I change this.
