On my new SATA Vista machine I would like to add my old HD with XP pro on it to the IDE connection. This would enable me to use the established programmes that Vista does not support. The motherboard supports both SATA and IDE. I have tried this but the machine starts up with blue error screen. Any ideas on how to configure BIOS, HDD master slave links etc ?
