XP Pro giving trouble.

I have Compaq PIV XP Pro machines it takes ages to boot. Even my PII machines boot faster. I have reinstalled the OS, for few days it worked fine but again it is giving the same trouble. However it works much better after it boots completely (after it loads all services and programs. )

Does any one has any solution???
