Hello thank you so much for reading this, I have searched the site for a problem like mine I have found some but none of my exact troubles.
I am writing this on another computer then the one I’m inquiring about.
I had recently purchased a new computer that has XP Professional installed on it, after booting it takes me to the “Windows XP Professional Setup Wizard” and I am prompted to enter my Product Key.
The Key on the computer is for Microsoft 2000, I have rang Microsoft, HP and the guy who sold me this computer and they are saying that to be given a new key is “cheating the system” or something.
I need a new key for my XP Pro without having to waste my money on another copy.
I’m starting to get very frustrated I need help.
