XP Re install

I bought a computr with xp pro pre-installed. I re-installed with the disk sent it came with which turned out to be different than what was on the machine. I now get event 7023 remote access communication manager access denied. a failure in SSDP discovery services. Theres something in the orig. network names that is different than what I re-installed Any ideas?
