XP start/run commands list

By X_specter1 ·
I am trying to find the default start/run command list for XP. I know you can enter the full path and get to programs but I would like to find the "default" list if there is such a list.

Their is no "Default" but this MRU list could be added to for a sort of default, depending on what your trying to get.

All .EXE and most COM files

If you are referring to the commands (programs) that you can launch from the Run dialog box on the Start Menu, The list is ALL registered applications.

The RUN box can be used like a DOS prompt to run any program installed on the PC.
The old DOScommands were simply a list of of a few commands that were part of the DOS shell, and all the executable files in the DOS folder.

Do a search of the Windows and related folders for *.exe and *.com for a basic list.

Add to this recent documents, desktop and start menu shortcuts, along with the URLs in your IE auto-fill-in database, and you will have most of the list.
