Both my laptop and my desktop are running xp pro and I setup a workgroup share of the desktop C:\userdata folder. The administrator laptop user can access the share with no problems (the shared printer too.)
However, any other user on the laptop cannot access the share. The non-admin laptop users can see the desktop machine on the network, but when they click on it they get some kind of permissions message that makes no sense to me.
I tried making the laptop user an administrator by putting him in the administrator group, but still no joy. I also tried getting rid of the share and then re-sharing it with a new name. Same result.
Anyone else ever have this problem?
