Zone Alarm start failure

Running Zone Alarm, free version 2.6.362. Have run earlier versions with same problem. Minilog.exe and VSMON.exe start OK. I start hem at boot time. ZoneAlarm.exe frequently fails on manual startup with an error message that it can’t connect to something. ZoneLabs no help. Went to manual statup since autostart failed almost every time. Any ideas anyone?
