The Power Supply
The Dell E series power supply is a slimmer version of those used with D-edition laptops.

The newly redesigned Latitude E series boast a sleeker, slimmer look.
Dell E5500 Bottom View
Several cooling vents adorn the E5500’s bottom shell. Toward the top you can see the integrated port for connecting to Dell’s docking stations.
E5500 Backside
The Dell E5500’s rear view possesses no ports. Instead, all that’s there is a cooling vent.
E5500 Right Side View
The E5500’s optical drive and Firewire and audio jacks are located on the laptop’s right side. Also positioned there are two of the unit’s four USB ports.
E5500 Left Side View
The E5500’s left side holds USB ports, the integrated Ethernet port, VGA out and a PCMCIA slot, as well as serial and S video out ports.
E5500 With Lid Open
The Dell E5500 possesses slim, sleek styling. While there are more stylish models available, the look of these laptops fit well within most any business environment.
E5500 Keyboard
This E5500 model is equipped with a standard trackpad. An optional Trackstick dual-pointing device is also available, as is a biometric fingerprint reader.
