    National Garden in Summer 2009

\n\tIn my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, January is a bit bleak. All of the deciduous plants are leafless and dormant and there are not near as many evergreens as there are in other parts of the world. This is where desktop wallpaper of color growing plants can help. The images in this gallery come from The United States Botanic Garden website and are almost certain to lift you from a mid-Winter melancholy.
