We recently received Vonage V-phone for review. This gallery is your first look at this flash drive-based software phone. A more formal review is in the works.

If nothing else, the Vonage V-phone is definitely orange.

Vonage has a deal with DHL apparently — even the shipping box is orange.

The retail box is also orange of course. It is a small compact package. I saw a national ad over the weekend where the V-phone could be yours for free after rebate.

Not much documentation ships with the Vonage V-phone, but then again not much is needed. Plug it into a USB port and it does the rest.

I was disappointed in the ear bud headphone lapel microphone apparatus that ships with the V-phone. My ears reject buds.

The one thing nice about the ear bud/mic setup is that it has a composite jack. This makes the unit almost completely self-contained. Just add a PC with a broadband connection.
