Boost Chrome security with these five add-ons

Google Chrome is my browser of choice. Its lightning fast\r\nrendering engine, incredible extension system, and cross-platform nature make\r\nit a winner. But is it secure?

Unfortunately, in today’s world of too much\r\ninformation and too many nefarious users sniffing about, adding security to any\r\nbrowser is a must.

Here are five extensions that will make your Chrome browsing experience is much safer. Each can be found in the Chrome Web Store and are a single click away\r\nfrom installation.

    Adblock Plus

Of course, online advertising is not always a bad thing, and\r\nblocking every ad presented to you runs counter to the sites you view. (Remember:\r\nThose sites need to make money to keep the lights on.)

With Adblock Plus, you\r\ncan create your own filters, add whitelisted domains, and more. The Adblock\r\nfilters do have their own language rules to follow, but you’ll find plenty of\r\ninformation on writing filters here. AdBlock plus is free.
