Opera released the second beta of its Opera 9.5 browser called Kestrel which adds new tools for search and synchronization. rnrn

Here’s the start page after you download the browser. Larry Dignan says it’s pretty snazzyrnrn

One of the key features is called Speed Dial. Here’s the empty page when you first arrive.

Click to easily add one of your favorite sites or type in the address.

Synchronize

Synchronize

You can synchronize your files among different computers and/or mobile devices. All you have to do is set up an account, then any time you sign in from any browser, you’ll be updated.

Another new feature is called Quick Find. If there’s a site you know you have visited but can’t remember exactly, type in a keyword in the address bar. Opera will search the browser’s and give you those results.

Opera 9.5 includes fraud protection that will notify you of a suspicious site. It supports Extended Validation certificates.
