Microsoft announced the newest addition to its mobile OS list known as Windows Embedded Handheld. The first version of Windows Embedded Handheld is tailored for what are known as u201centerprise handheld mobile devicesu201d — i.e., ruggedized computers that are for custom line-of-business applications, like bar-code scanning, RFID reading, etc. Here, it’s powering the new Motorola’ES400.
