The first version of Windows Embedded Handheld is tailored for what are known as u201centerprise handheld mobile devicesu201d — i.e., ruggedized computers that are for custom line-of-business applications, like bar-code scanning, RFID reading, etc. Here, it’s powering the new Motorola’ES400.
