Travel plays a vital role in the World of Warcraft. The game’s massive size means you have to know how to get around. Fortunately, the goblins are there to provide these travel services. Goblins are neutral with regard to the war between the Horde and the Alliance, so they rake in the profits from both sides by providing services and arms. They also have an inflated opinion of themselves as you can see by this tribute statue outside of Booty Bay, one of their major travel hubs.

This is a panoramic view of Muglore, the homeland of the Tauren. It is one of the more pleasant areas in the game, and probably the most appealing place to be when you talk about Horde controlled areas.
This is a shot from the Barrens, which is a huge area of high plains mostly controlled by the Horde. That is Elkwinkarma, an Undead Warlock and his pet Voidwalker, standing with Dozark, an Orc Humter and his pet Raptor Bunky. The setting moon was a dominate feature that night.
Here Keres, an Undead Rogue, Bonky, a Tauren Warrior, Myrlin, an Orc Shaman, and I are working our way through the Wailing Caverns. This is one of the first instanced dungeons Horde players can quest in. Don’t let the beauty fool you ? just after this picture was taken we were wiped out by some nasty mobs. It was the first of two wipes we experienced that night.
It is not all business in World of Warcraft, even for the Guild Leader. Here I am leading some random travelers on one of the goblin zeppelins on a spontaneous dancing spree. The Undead are real head-banging heavy metal fans.
One of the most common ways to travel long distances is with flying animals. Here Elkwinkarma has caught a Griffon out of Orgrimmar, the Orc capitol city, on his way to the Crossroads in the Barrens. As you can see with a hair style like that, people expect me to be a little aggressive.
Here is a wide shot of Thunderbluff, the Tauren capitol. As I told you, it is the most picturesque area in the Horde realm.
This is where Warlocks like to hang out in the Undead capitol of Undercity. This quaint little spot is hundreds of feet below the surface and houses all of the Warlock trainers where Elkwinkarma learns his new and more powerful spells.
This is a shot of the Crossroads in the Barrens. This spot is just about in the middle of nowhere, which makes it somewhere you have to visit at some point if you are fighting on the Horde side.
This is Lady Sylvanas Windrunner, the Banshee Queen. She is running the show for the Undead.
This slightly intimidating gentlemen is Varimathras, the prime guardian and minion of Lady Slyvanas. Neither one is to be trifled with.
