New improved icons
Firefox is having trouble retaining its users. To remedy that problem Mozilla has cooked up a 12 point plan to increase retention. Step one is snazzier icons that elicit action. See Larry Dignan’s analysis on each part of the plan.
Show me that system tray
Mozilla wants to force the issue by putting icons in key areas on the desktop.
Default me
Mozilla also wants to make it easier to make Firefox a default browser.
Better splash page
Mozilla’s intro page is rather bland compared to this potential version.
Support me
Firefox is also beefing up a support page in case newbies get lost.
Make the Web more human
