Classkick
Instead of having students write on paper, or on whiteboards, they write on “Classkick whiteboards” via and iPad. Teachers immediately get student work, and data on that work.
ClassroomIQ
Open response questions can be a beast to grade. ClassroomIQ lets teachers import assignments, match student names based on handwriting, identify portions of the questions, and then grade the questions.
DeansList
DeansList is a gradebook geared toward tracking soft skills like diligence or leadership. Schools can create progress reports and use the data collected to create metrics for improvement.
Edoome
Edoome is an online community for parents, teachers, and students, aimed at the Latin American education market. Teachers can share videos and files, as well as publish quizzes, assignments, and grades.
Front Row
Front Row is Common Core-compliant math practice via iPad for kindergarten to 8th grade.
Kaymbu
Kaymbu is a documentation system for teachers. They can take pictures and video or record activities from the classroom.
SchoolMint
For both families and schools, SchoolMint is a financial app that helps users handle costs associated with the admissions process.
Cellabus
Cellabus was created for the management of multiple mobile devices in an education setting. The dashboard helps teachers bring mobile tech into the classroom.
Class Central
Class Central helps those interested in finding MOOCs (massively open online courses) connect with the right classes based on interests.
EDpuzzle
Teachers can use EDPuzzle to find and create videos to go along with lessons.
Geddit
Instead of grudgingly raising their hands in class when a teacher asks who doesn’t understand a concept (or just not admitting it), students can privately express their level of comfort with a topic to the teacher using Geddit.
