By default, the Nomad remote access isn’t set up correctly. You need to install the XRDP server for it to work, and you need a 32-bit (24-bit with alpha channel) X.org driver for your graphics card with compositing extensions enabled on the Linux client.

Many services don’t work on OpenSUSE out of the box, such as SAMBA. The default firewall settings are very aggressive, so you might want to turn it off at first. SAMBA’s smbd and nmbd also needs to be enabled as well.
