Pfizer began on Dec. 15 to embed electronic identification devices known as RFID tags in all of its Viagra packages in an effort detect counterfeit pills. The new Viagra bottle label also includes security features such as a two-dimensional barcode for use with line-of-sight barcode scanner applications and a larger color-shifting ink bar.
