This year’s Burning Man pendant design from the Alien Monkey Love Nest camp. The group will bring between 1,500 and 2,000 of these pendants to the arts festival and give them to participants who perform on the group’s stage.
A stuffed platypus sports a 2004 Alien Monkey Love Nest pendant and one from 2001’s Alien Love Nest, the group’s precursor, at Burning Man 2004.
In 1999, Alien Love Nest had at least two sizes for its Burning Man pendants. The author treasures his large-size version.
Many Burning Man attendees collect the pendants and wear several of them at a time to show them off.
The author has collected Alien Love Nest/Alien Monkey Love Nest pendants from every year he has gone to Burning Man except 1998.
