The Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi uses a bigger 2.5-inch LCD, up from 1.8 inches in the predecessor XT.
Canon introduced a new $1,599 50mm lens whose f/1.2 aperture is well-suited to low-light conditions. It goes on sale in November.
Canon introduced a 70mm to 200mm zoom lens that uses the same f/4 aperture as its predecessor but which adds image stabilization to compensate for shaky hands. It will cost $1,249 beginning in November.
