The largest of the three new notebooks unveiled Wednesday, the Pavilion dv9000, comes with a 17-inch wide-screen display and AMD’s new dual-core Turion chip. Adding it to a backpack full of other gear might eventually cause a visit to the chiropractor, however, as the dv9000 weighs 7.8 pounds.
