Microsoft’s new Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000, which sells for about $29.95, is billed as compact and easy to stow for jet-setting users. It also uses the company’s High Definition technology, which is designed to supply smooth tracking, regardless of the surface.
The Wireless Laser Mouse 5000, scheduled for release by Microsoft in April at a price of about $49.95, contains five buttons, including a Magnifier button that allows for real-time enlargement and editing of any section of the screen, and a Tilt Wheel that permits horizontal and vertical scrolling.
Slated for a June release, the three-button Wireless Optical Mouse 2000 is geared toward desktop users, with an ambidextrous design and silver accents. At $29.95, it’s billed as a more affordable alternative to the laser mouse.
