At a San Francisco launch party for the new Web-based network Revision3, the logo for the Rev3 show “Diggnation” is projected on the wall. The party took place Sept. 26 near the former offices of the now-defunct international television network TechTV. A number of TechTV alums banded together to create Revision3, which offers original content for the on-demand Internet generation.
At the Revision3 launch party, “Diggnation” co-host and producer Alex Albrecht (left) chats with Dr. Tiki, a character on the popular video podcast Tiki Bar TV.
Revision3 founder Kevin Rose enjoys the fruits of his labor at the launch party. Rose, a former TechTV on-air personality, also created the computer hacking Web show “thebroken” and the technology news Web site digg.
A Revision3 logo lights up the outside brick wall of Mighty, where hundreds showed up for the Revision3 launch party. The Web-based network gets more than 1.5 million downloads a month, according to the company.
