The OnAir GT can turn a laptop into a high-definition TV. Equipped with a tuner from LG Electronics, the $179 GT receives over-the-air high-definition broadcasts via an antenna.

A public broadcasting station comes in clearly on a laptop featuring the OnAir GT from AutumnWave. In hilly terrain, TV broadcast signals may be hard to pick up, but otherwise the images are typically high quality.
The OnAir GT is an ashtray-size tuner. Here, for size comparison, it’s pictured alongside a first-generation iPod.
