Blake Irving, a Microsoft vice president, demonstrates a forthcoming search tool known as Windows Live Local that will enable people to find nearby services using Microsoft’s Virtual Earth technology.
\r\nThe demo took place at Microsoft’s launch of its Windows Live package on Nov. 1 in San Francisco.
Microsoft showed a preview of its Windows Live Mobile search, which should let people use their Windows Mobile-based devices and other cell phones to search the Web. \r\n\r\n
It should be available soon in beta form.
