Out of the box

Out of the box

The Audio Unlimited 900MHz Indoor/Outdoor Wireless Speakers offer good value for the price, which is currently $99.99 on Amazon.com. The system comes with two speakers that each take 6 C batteries, or can be plugged in. The speakers are mountable. Additional speakers can be purchased for a reasonable price (around $50 each). A transmitter that plugs in and multiple adapters are also included.

Each speaker needs to be tuned to the receiver. This is done automatically with the tuning button. Speakers also have volume buttons, but the system also comes with a remote control.

The transmitter does plug into the wall. It also uses wires and adapters to hook to the audio source. Compatible with iPods, iPhones, TVs, and most audio sources with headphone jacks.
