Remote Data Backups Scheduling
Here is the Schedule screen seen when installing Remote Data Backups. The scheduling utility can also be accessed by opening the Remote Data Backups agent, clicking Options and choosing Backup Schedule.

Preparing Backup File Selection
Whenever viewing Remote Data Backups’ Backup, the agent software scans the system. The scan enables building a file inventory from which administrators can specify files for backing up.

Remote Data Backups Backup View
Administrators specify files for back up using the Backup View tab, shown here. Files with a green checkmark are selected for backup. Folder icons bearing a blue bar, meanwhile, indicate files within that folder are selected for backup.

Data Transferring
Once an account is created, the back up software agent is installed and files are selected for back up, the files are securely transferred to Remote Data Backups’ offsite data center.

Retrieving files from Remote Data Backups’ secure offsite facility is as simple as installing the Remote Data Backups agent, logging in to your account and specify the files you wish to recover.

Remote Data Backups Log Files
The Remote Data Backups application boasts excellent reporting. In addition to being able to alert administrators by email when backups encounter trouble, the log files track actual back up activity.

Detailed Log View
Clicking the View Details button, which is found on the bottom of the Log tab, opens the Log Detail window shown here. Remote Data Backups lists each file, including directory location and file size, that is backed up. The utility’s logs not only capture the total file sizes, but also the time and date they were backed up.
