\n\tAlong with many other technophiles and mobile phone lovers, I waited in line on June 29 in order to purchase an Apple iPhone. I bought an 8 GB model for TechRepublic to use in testing. Of course, we will be publishing a “Cracking Open” gallery, just as we have with the Nintendo Wii, the Xbox 360, and many other products.

\n\tHowever, before cracking open the iPhone, we took 67 photos of the process of unboxing and doing the initial setup for the iPhone. Here is our soup-to-nuts look at the entire process.
