ntThe RIM BlackBerry PlayBook has been out for one week and there are now over 1,700 apps in the BlackBerry App World software store. While many of the big names are still missing there are plenty of apps to keep you occupied.

ntI love reading ebooks on my devices and the Kobo Ebook app is a solid reader. Unfortunately, I cannot figure out how to get it to read my other EPUB documents at this time.

ntI used to subscribe to and read Reader Digest religously and am enjoying it in portrait mode on the PlayBook.

ntPoynt is a location-based application that gives you quick access to local movies, restaurants, gas stations, and weather with search options for people and businesses.

#9: Rocket Storm

ntI was a big fan of Missile Command as a kid and this game is similar with beautiful graphics. There is a bug where the banner stays on the screen too long when a round starts, but it is available for free.

ntIn this fun game you have to strategize about where you will draw lines to have all of the marbles fall into the jar when the line holding them back is erased.
