\n\tAs you know, when creating a shortcut you have the opportunity to choose a custom icon. When you do, you’ll see a list of 300 icons that come from the shell32.dll file. However, this isn’t the only native Windows file that contains a whole set of icons. There are others. In this gallery, I’ll show you 17 other Windows files and the more than 1200 icons contained in these files.

My first computer was a Kaypro 16 \"luggable\" running MS-DOS 2.11 which I obtained while studying computer science in 1986. After two years, I discovered that I had a knack for writing documentation and shifted my focus over to technical writing.
