Windows Mobile 6 on the T-Mobile Dash

T-Mobile is the first carrier in the United States to release a Windows Mobile 6 upgrade and they are now providing it for free to Dash owners. The upgrade improves usability and adds key productivity applications.

E-mail setup tool

T-Mobile includes an e-mail setup wizard for multiple e-mail clients that defaults to your Home screen.

Music plug-in

T-Mobile includes a music plug-in so you can play and control your music right from the Home screen.

A nice new feature is Office Mobile rather than simple viewers on the Windows Mobile 5.0 Dash.

T-Mobile throws in the kitchen sink and gives you VC 1.6. You can now control your device and interact with your data.

Setting up Voice Command

There are several settings for you to customize in Voice Command. Pressing and holding the Home button will activate it , labeled as Record in the settings.

A Java application is also included

The Java application is great to have so you can use the Gmail Java client on your device. The Gmail client has a powerful and quick search functionality.
