From the download:

Confluent used the Current 2023 ‘next generation of Kafka Summit’ event in San Jose to announce the open preview of Apache Flink on Confluent Cloud, a fully managed service for stream processing that makes it easier for companies to filter, join and enrich data streams with Flink. But what is Flink?

Apache Flink is an open source project built to make ‘stateful’ computations over data streams. This involves computations that happen when and where software code is required to execute a function that takes the state and value of a given stateful data entity, meaning that the entity has the ability to access memory storage and then return a value along with a new state.

The download comprises a 15-page PDF.
