Asynchronous replication
Data replication method in which changes to primary data are copied to secondary storage devices or remote locations. This replication occurs periodically and with a time delay. Asynchronous replication has a low-latency impact, allowing continuous updates on the primary system without waiting for the secondary site to finish writing data. However, there is a potential risk of data loss if the primary site fails before data is replicated to the secondary site.
