A Survey of Applications of Glowworm Swarm Optimization Algorithm
Swarm Intelligence (SI) is a type of artificial intelligence, based on the collective behavior of decentralized, self-organized systems. This paper presents a survey of applications of Glowworm Swarm Optimization (GSO) algorithms designed in the various fields. Glowworm Swarm Optimization (GSO) is a recent nature-inspired optimization algorithm that simulates the behavior of the lighting worms. GSO algorithm is suitable for a concurrent search of several solutions, having dissimilar or equal objective function values. A number of references are provided that describe applications of GSO algorithms in different domains, such as clustering and various optimization problems.
