Servo motors are used in many areas in these days like automation technology, robotics and camera auto focus and may other areas. Majority of these applications require precise motor control of servo motor. The architecture of current controller of servo motor is given, as evident from previous work. The authors are proposing the architecture of current controller using Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). Use of FPGA provides parallel processing which reduces computing time. Here they use a feedback signal to monitor and reduce an error in the servo control.
