** Musicmatch cannot play CD audio **

Hi, I have tried searching the forum and Google and Yahoo!, but I just cannot find a satisfying answer to my problem. Musicmatch Jukebox v10 does not 'recognise' any CD audio - it cannot SEE the content of the CD audio, just BLANK. Others like Windows MP and RealPlayer do not have problem playing the CD audio, ie. the list of songs/tracks are shown on screen. However, Musicmatch can list and play audio/music that I have saved/ripped into the hard disk. Since Musicmatch cannot recognise the CD audio, I use Windows MP/RealPlayer to rip the CD audio, and then use Musicmatch to play these songs from the hard disk. Guess some of you might just reply that I should forget about Musicmatch and just use Windows MP/RealPlayer (right?).However, I am endeavour to find out WHY, just cannot comprehend why Musicmatch cannot SEE the CD audio.FYI, I have tried uninstalling/restalling, updating Windows Update, install the latest DirectX,.........almost everything and anything I could think of.Please enlighten. Possible Conflict From Other Software

I've been banging my head for several days now, searching thru the INTERNET like you did. Finally, I requested tech support thru MM. Why didn't I think of that sooner. To my surprise I received a response within an hour. In my case they were able to detect that I had a conflict with an application (DVD43) that supplemented my DVD ripping software (1ClickDVD). When I disabled DVD43, MM worked fine (no reboot was necessary). The only small negative will be manually running DVD43 when I need it. Possibly, you have something similar causing resource conflicts. Good luck.
