I have one machine running Windows 2000 that shows only the first letter of an IE or Explorer window as the window title.
For example, “Ask A Question – Microsoft Internet Explorer” that’s shown on the top of your screen would appear as “A” on this box at both the window titlebar and in the task bar.
I’ve installed SP1 and even upgraded to the latest IE55, to no avail. It would be helpful if IE could be un-installed, but we all know how that goes 🙂
