1 user - 2 accounts from 2 subsidaries

By itask1 ·
Have this senior user who has mail accounts from 2 different subsidaries, eg joh@abc.com and joh@xyz.com.
How to setup in Outlook so he need only to log on once and can get mails from both accounts from home (possible) ?
Or how can we have Exchange of 1 account point to the other account (that is, mails coming from @abc.com will go into @xyz.com mailbox so he only need to log on @xyz.com account) ?
Thank you.

Probably the easiest way to do this (assuming two different Exchange organizations are involved and it is just one individual who needs access to both) is to create a custom recipient on one server that points to the mailbox on the other server. Then add that custom recipient as a alternate recipient so all mail to the first box also goes to the second.

On the other hand, if both Exchange servers are part of the same Exchange organization, he can simply add the second mailbox to his Outlook configuration and if the Send As option is enabled, he can then also send out mail with the correct reply address.

Easiest way is to just set up automatic forwarding.
