Will an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6850, LGA775, 1333Mhz FSB CPU, work in the Asus P5V-VM SE DH Mainboard , that has a FSB of 1066Mhz?
The CPU and mainboard chipsets are lga775.
I know that DDR 400Mhz ram will work in a Mainboard with an FSB of 333Mhz, but I have no idea if higher FSB CPUs can work in lower FSB mainboards, even ignoring FSB bottlenecking.
