180 Tracerts - All Output to 1 Text File?

By N6750B ·
I need to capture the output of about 180 different tracerts to a single text file. I'm using the sytax below, but it sends the output from each URL/IP to a different text file - which stinks.

tracert 207.71.25.21 >c:\25.21.txt
tracert 219.43.28.74 >c:\28.74.txt
etc....

I recall a batch command that will append the output of each into a single file - or am I wrong about this?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

To append text to an existing file use the >> redirector instead of >.

So nice to wake up early and find your replies. I've already tried each (>> and copy *.txt TracertAll.txt) and both work great. I can now finish this part of this project and move on to making sure user on one of our internal networks can get the the external URL's. Thanks again to each of you.

Roll Outputs into one file

by charlie.grett In reply to 180 Tracerts - All Output ...

tracert 207.71.25.21 >c:\results.txt
tracert 219.43.28.74 >> c:\results.txt

the double greater-than sign appends to the file rather than over-writing it.
