19 and 5 Metabase entries for smtpsvc

Windows 2000 Advanced Server, 2 Node Cluster, Service Pack 2, Exchange 2000 no Service Pack. Cluster can’t switch because the smtp instance is not going online. According to MetabaseEditor 2.2 there are 19 smtpsvc entrys at the First Node and at thesecond node there are 5.
Registry said just 1 smtp entry is present.
Is there any way to delete this entries from the metabase? Microsoft Knowlagebase says, I need IIS 5.0 Ressource Kit to Edit the Metabase. Does anybody know, how can I work with IIS Resource Kit to fix the problem?
