2 IP’s on one NIC, how to access a host with a particular IP

Hi,

Am running XP pro and I’ve got my NIC configured with 2 IP addresses (statically). I would like to be able to access a particular host on my network but use IP address B (instead of IP address A, which is what’s happening now). I’ve tried playing with the route command but can’t get this to work (both IP A and B use the same default gateway).

Can someone help?
